Winn Advisory Group, LLC operates winnadvisory.com and annewinn.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect:

• If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide.

• If you join the waitlist for The Distance survey, we collect the email address you provide.

• ​Our website host collects standard technical information automatically when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This happens on most websites and is used to keep the site working and to understand general traffic patterns.

• We do not collect payment information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Why we collect it:

• Contact form submissions are used to reply to you.

• Waitlist addresses are used for one purpose: to notify you when the survey opens. They are not added to any mailing list, and you will not receive anything else unless you separately subscribe.

• Technical information is used to operate and improve the site.

Who else sees it:

• The site is built and hosted on Wix, so Wix processes information on our behalf as our hosting provider. Their privacy practices are described at wix.com.

• Our writing is published on Substack. If you subscribe there, Substack collects and controls that information under its own privacy policy. Subscribing is separate from anything on this site.

• We do not otherwise share your information, except where we are required to by law.

Cookies

Wix sets cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and may set analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works.

How long we keep it:

• Contact form messages are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward.

• Waitlist addresses are kept until the survey opens and you have been notified, or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.

Your choices:

• You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to anne.winn@winnadvisory.com and we will respond.

• You can ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time, and we will remove you.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and change the effective date below. The research survey described on The Distance page is not yet open. When it opens, it will carry its own consent statement, and this policy will be updated to cover how research responses are handled.
